A Product of Sant’Ambrogio, NextGen is a new software for the mechanical design & checking of pressure vessels and heat exchangers according to either ASME Sect. VIII division 1 or ASME Sect. VIII division 2, with an option for the calculation of nozzle loads in accordance with WRC 107/297. The software has a 3D graphical interface, a material data base containing all allowable SA/SB materials, a wizard for the creation of complete TEMA heat exchangers. Tubesheets can be calculated both in accordance with ASME and in accordance with TEMA. The software includes modules for the calculation of rectangular vessels to Appendix 13 and vessel supports (legs and brackets) according to Bednar method.
